It seems time traveling stories are not for me. I couldn't get to love this one. I'm in the minority here as almost all my friends loved this.I was really excited to read this new series by my favorite duo writers, but I think my expectations were too high. I couldn't really get into the story. The characters seemed so childish. Childish to say the lest. Laurent's ignorance was understandable, he traveled 212 years in the future, but he was very annoying at times. The miscommunication made things worse in their relationship and I rolled my eyes a lot while reading. I'm really sorry to admit it wasn't what I'd hoped for.
I've buddy read this with my best friend and even if we had a good time sharing our thoughts and highlights, I couldn't get to love this story.
The mystery and suspense made me turn the pages, but I didn't feel any earth shaking attraction between Beast and Laurent. I was curious about their HEA, this much I can admit, BUT I didn't understand their choices or actions. I wanted so much more. I had so many questions and scenarios.
I can say this story surprised me, but not always in a good way. I was on the edge of my seat a few times, but I expected so much more from the ending. Yes, King got what he deserved and they ended up together, but I wasn't too happy about the epilogue.
Hope the next book will be much better. Looking forward to Knight's story.

A unique and entertaining romance that takes MM, historical, MC and paranormal and turns it into a book that was hard to put down. Seriously erotic and unbelievably engrossing. I would recommend this to anyone who likes MM paranormal romance.
The prologue caught me, it was an interesting twist and I give kudos to the authors for writing outside of the box, but the story didn't grab me, nor did the MCs. I'm not religious by any means, but wanting something bad enough to sell your soul, I couldn't relate, I felt like the characters where blind to what was right in front of them. Good idea, but lacking for me. I love most of the stories written by the authors, this one was a no go for me, but do not let me discourage anyone from buying this book. I may not have liked it, but as you can see from other reviews, others love it. Give it a read and make up your own mind. The authors are talented people and they work hard to entertain us, so thank you for your time and effort.
So so so enjoyable! I just finished this one and I'm not even going to take a breath before grab the next one. Want to know about Knight and The Count and Dane and Jake too. Here I go wish me luck because it's probably going to an all right reading session. Yes it's that good. So buy it.
This book is amazing, I'm awestruck! I didn't know what to expect but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Not only was it a great romance with some hot sex but it was also profound and so deeply affected me! Recommend highly!!!! 10 stars!
This has to be one of my favorite books! The main characters are brilliant. Beast is a wonderfully sweet man with a soft soul. He can be violent when need be but he has stolen my heart. Laurent is to precious. Laurent and Beast a perfect match! A must read!!!
This book had quiet a different twist to it, though it did keep my interest through to the end, I couldn't exactly figure out how that would go down, so I stuck it out. I never found it boring, I do love m/m sex and bad boy MC's, somehow I couldn't get lost in it like I wanted to. I didn't regret buying it, it kept my interest, but only to the level of a good , firm 3 star. I doubt I buy book 2.
I always am a sucker for time travel romances but they don't always deliver. This book combines realistic characters from different times, magic and paranormal , romance and steamy sex all in one. I really enjoyed the fact that the protagonists are humane and relatable, falling in love little by little recognizing their flaws, overcoming obstacles, while staying true to their personalities instead of falling head over heels for no good reason in less than a day (as is the case in many romance novels) . All in all it is a great read. Can't wait to read the sequel about our crazy boy Knight!
